Larry-Lorry is a pickup truck.. He may look old but he's still young and very strong...

Larry-Lorry has a stutter, and has learned that although he stutters his friends still like to play with him..

He's quite shy and often the smallest surprises give him a fright..

He usually takes boxes of freshly caught fish from KalkBay harbour to the Cape Town market..

Mr. Heavy is a large harbour crane that can lift very heavy boxes and things..

He is seen by all the friends as a father figure and they always go to him for advice, and he always tries to give good advice..

sometimes he can get really cross with the seagulls that are always sitting on him.. but he cant stay cross for long as he is a very friendly crane

He is always looking out for Toby and the gang to see if they don't stray off too far and get into trouble..

Mr. Brightly is a Lighthouse.. some say that he is hundreds of years old, as he talks like a pirate and often tells tails of the pirates he has met years ago..

Mr. Brightly is seen by the gang as the wise old man.. almost like a grandfather..

usually when Toby and Maggie have an argument over something they go to Mr. Brightly to help them settle the argument for them.. He is very wise and always is willing to help..

Andy is and airplane that takes people for sightseeing trips over the Cape Town area..

Andy doesn't speak much and prefers to keep to himself and does what he loves the most.. Flying!

Every now and then he would come flying over the habour as low as he can to wake everyone up.. he always gets is right to give Maggie and Larry-Lorry a big fright..

Skittle and Scant are twin sailboats.. they don't speak much but are always seen playing hide and seek or other games with Toby and Maggie..
